Celebrated as a versatile musical pioneer, Grammy-nominated artist James Hood is known for his groundbreaking work, and multi-sensory projects blending music and art.
His extensive musical résumé includes drumming for The Pretenders, more than two decades as the creative force behind the visionary ambient act Moodswings, and a wide array of production and soundtrack projects.
Before Beautifica, Hood transformed the world of immersive artistic experiences with Mesmerica 360, the record-breaking experience that continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

H.R. Macmillan Space Center
The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, also known as the Planetarium, has been British Columbia’s premier space science attraction since its doors opened in 1968. The venue works hard to bridge arts, culture, and science to bring unique shows, exhibits, and special events that spark curiosity and inspire exploration.
Originally a gift to the citizens of Vancouver from philanthropist H.R. MacMillan, the facility has evolved into a community resource centre that proudly offers learning opportunities for people of all ages through a variety of in-person and online programs. The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is visited by over 145,000 people a year, who are attracted by a myriad of public lectures and events, school and public programs and cultural activities that raise public awareness of science literacy.
