His extensive musical résumé includes drumming for The Pretenders, more than two decades as the creative force behind the visionary ambient act Moodswings, and a wide array of production and soundtrack projects.
Before Beautifica, Hood transformed the world of immersive artistic experiences with Mesmerica 360, the record-breaking experience that continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Tūhura Otago Museum
Tūhura Otago Museum shares the natural, cultural and scientific stories of Otago, Aotearoa New Zealand and the world.
The Otago Museum was established in 1868. It has seven permanent galleries, the H D Skinner Annex, the Tūhura Otago Community Trust Science Centre and the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium.
The Otago Museum’s Perpetual Guardian Planetarium opened to the public in December 2015 as the new southernmost planetarium in the world. The immersive 360 ̊ theatre is the only fully 3D planetarium in Australasia and seats 50. The Perpetual Guardian Planetarium was built to increase engagement with science, nature and culture in Otago and inspire the next generation to take an interest in the world, in line with the Museum’s mission.
