The Artist Behind Beautifica and Mesmerica.
James Hood is renowned as a vital and versatile musical pioneer - especially with his work on the PanART hang, a uniquely mesmeric melodic instrument, and for his collaborations with international animation artists.
His lengthy musical resumé includes playing drums in The Pretenders, an ongoing two-decades-plus run as mastermind of the visionary ambient/electronica act Moodswings, and an expansive array of production and soundtrack projects.

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center
Dedicated to NH space pioneers Christa McAuliffe and Alan Shepard, the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is a 45,000-square-foot air and space museum in the heart of Northern New England, with indoor and outdoor exhibits, an observatory, a vibrant program series, a vintage 1956 Crusader jet, one of only three planetariums in all of North America with a 10K projection system and an outdoor Science Playground!
One of only four planetariums in North America with a 10K projection system, made possible by NASA funding secured by Senator Jeanne Shaheen in addition to funds from Freedom Energy Logistics and others, the Freedom Energy Logistics Planetarium partnered with SSIA Technologies to update the servers, software, and audio systems to the latest technology in 2022. In addition, brand new carpets, seating, and state-of-the-art 10k projectors were installed.
