Celebrated as a versatile musical pioneer, Grammy-nominated artist James Hood is known for his groundbreaking work, and multi-sensory projects blending music and art.
His extensive musical résumé includes drumming for The Pretenders, more than two decades as the creative force behind the visionary ambient act Moodswings, and a wide array of production and soundtrack projects.
Before Beautifica, Hood transformed the world of immersive artistic experiences with Mesmerica 360, the record-breaking experience that continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

The Orange Coast College Planetarium
Explore the Universe in the Mary Lynn Bergman-Rallis Dome Theater where you will be surrounded by the stars in our 50-foot, 125 seat theaterBuilt in a spiral galaxy shape, mimicking the shape of our own Milky Way, the seventy-foot-diameter dome peeks from the center of the galaxy and evokes the curiosity of all who walk past the structure.
The Planetarium has unique features to serve all of its travelers including state-of-the-art Dome Theater, Foucault Pendulum, Interactive science exhibit hall and NOAA Science on a Sphere.
